Can I get a break please?!

Sorry, but this post is going to be a little bit angry. What else am I gonna do? It's just gotten to that point. Currently, I am sitting on a Pilates ball bouncing away as I type this. I gotta get this kid out. I'm STILL having contractions, and now I get to add a couple more things to the ever growing list of FUN. For the past few days I've been having HORRIBLE, and I mean horrible back pain. Ok, well it isn't so much pain as it is a constant ache (think toothache or a side ache that you get when running). Really strong, annoying, won't go away aches. Instead of going away they just stay at a constant ache and then build up in pain for a while and then go back down and then build up again... on and on and on. Honestly, they've brought me to tears more than one time, and NO medication has been able to touch it. The only way I can even figure I'm able to sleep at night is because my body is just so friggin' exhausted that I pass out as soon as my head hits the pillow. Oh wait... here's the Dr. calling me back. Just a second.

(Wait for it.)

Ok. It was the nurse. Dr. is in surgery. Surprise. They want me to come in and rule out kidney stones. What in the heck?! Is this some sort of cruel joke!? Kidney Stones, now that would be funny. I gotta go in and pee in a cup (which is dang near impossible to do cleanly this pregnant, might I add) and they called me in some stronger meds. Let's just cross our fingers that they actually do something. Oh man.... MY BACK IS KILLING ME!!! {bounce... bounce....bounce} Guess I should go and make myself semi-presentable. It's customary to dress up to pee in a cup I hear. I'll let y'all know what they say. Results should only take an hour. Seriously, if this is kidney stones then someone 'up there' really hates me - either that or he's really a prankster and likes to see me cry.

I thought I had gallstones with my last one, it was SOOO painful! It was a pain the was going straight through my ribs to my back and it was awful! They did an ultrasound to make sure and it wasn't that, but they thought I had like detached a muscle from my ribs from "over doing it" and I wasn't supposed to lift anything over 20 lbs. I had a 2 year old then, who I HAD to lift up all the time (my husband was in basic training then and gone), I guess it finally started to heal because it eased up before the baby was born. I'm really really hoping you don't have to deal with kidney stones, I think that pregnant women are more prone to them or something because my cousin gets them almost every pregnancy! I'm sorry you're feeling angry and upset (although I surely can't blame you, I'm sure I'd be a complete wreck!!), but I honestly think you're amazing and strong and such a great example! I'll keep praying for you!

What the???? I really did curse on your behalf. I'm so sorry that you are so miserable. Thanks for the touch of hope Mr. Panda! I know it's obnoxious when people are always asking "what can I do for you?" but I just feel for you and wish I could do something...ANYTHING. In the meantime, we are all just praying for you and praying hard.
