This week's photo comes a couple days late, sorry - I do apologize. I had a sick husband and toddler all this week to take care of, and I have to set some boundaries on my extra curriculars when there are others in need. I'm so selfless it's nauseating (I jest people, I jest!).
I think that self portraits should relfect the mood you are in or reflect who you are as a person at that time. Well, for me... I am all about my pregnancy right now. There just isn't any getting around at. I feel this baby 24/7 so there isn't any forgetting he's there. I wanted to do some sort of perspective shot and this was the perfect one. But I gotta be honest with you... I can't actually see my toes when I look down! I had to get a little creative to do this shot. Creative and flexible - which is nearly impossible when you are 28 weeks pregnant! I love the quote 'barefoot and pregnant', so I ran with that as well.
The quote I chose was absolutely spot on for me and my little Archer boy. A grand adventure is truly about to begin for us! I'm so excited, and nervous, and scared and eager, and NERVOUS (oh, did I say that already?). Is it possible to be all these things at once?!
