Just to keep everyone updated on the Archer front... I have a final appointment with Dr. R tomorrow. It will be her last day working in Idaho Falls. She spends two days traveling and two days away from home (Atlanta, GA) every week and it's taken it's toll in her so she's handing over the reigns. To who, I haven't a clue. I guess I'll find out soon enough, but I hope it someone personable and someone I like. Oh dang, I'm selfish. Also, Wednesday I have an appointment with my regular OB, Dr. O. Let's all hope I don't have gestational diabetes. {Crossing fingers, toes and eyes just to be safe}. Speaking of which, those glucose tests are the pits! Seriously, I had to spend THREE hours in the hospital on a weekday morning (they don't do Sat. or Sun. tests at our hospital lab). I had to be there at 7:45am to register and then start the test. I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything for 8-10 hrs prior. RUDE! They told me to bring a book so I brought my phone because it has Kindle on it, but then ended up not even being able to use it because the lab was smack dab in the center of the hospital and didn't get any service. Boring! Then, I had to get pricked and poked over 4 different times to draw blood at different time intervals to see how I reacted to that sickening sugar drink (which does NOT taste like flat pop by the way). And lucky lucky me - the last phleb stuck me and then couldn't get the vein, not once, not twice but three times before switching arms and trying again. I just had to laugh at this point. I mean, what else!?

BIG HUGE thanks to Kacey for watching Logan and Blake for me while I sat around at the hospital. She's a lifesaver. The pineapple kind - which I think are the BEST!
