Icicles in the Morning (they sure aren' t breakfast... but I'll take it)

Look at the cool picture I took this morning! Isn't it pretty? Yeah... I think so too! ;) I nearly broke my neck trying to get it. I went outside in my pajamas, and some snow boots. Although the boots keep snow off of my legs/feet, they really don't have ANY traction. So, stupidness that is me, I took out a varnished wooden chair outside with me so that I could get eye level with the icicles. Upon taking the first step on the chair my foot went sliding off because of the combination of snow and wood chair. Hahahaha! Now that I look back on it, it was pretty funny... but imagine being in only your pajamas (yeah, no coat, gloves or any clothing cold weather related), standing on a slippery chair above the cold ground, which is covered in about a foot of snow, holding my baby (camera). Falling?! NO THANKS! Well, let's just say that I must really love you guys in order to risk my life like that, just so to get a picture to share with you all. Yikes. You better say thank you, darn it! ;)

WOW, that is so pretty. Glad you didn't break your neck over that. But you know, a good photographer risks life and limb at times.

If it makes you feel any better, the picture is pretty cool. I do have to admit that I did picture your story and I was laughing.

Awww....pictures like this make me appreciate this cold weather, but only for about a minute. Then I'm back to cussing under my breath while I go outside to scrape snow off my car. Love the picture. It's absolute timeless! Good work, girl! I'm so glad that you tried to kill yourself over this shot! Next time, I want you on your roof! Haha! I Love ya!
