Bree, Thank you so much for sharing this. I went into the bathroom to watch it and cry alone. When I finished reading your beautiful poem and wiping the tears from my eyes I could hear Chelsea in the other room watching it. As John Lennon said, "Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful Boy"! What a tender mercy from the Lord to have those few days and those pictures to remember.

Watching the video made me think of what Elder Scott said during Saturday afternoon of General Conference quoting the Prophet Joseph F. Smith -
"I believe we move and have our being in the presence of heavenly messengers and of heavenly beings. We are not separate from them. We begin to realize, more and more fully, as we become acquainted with the principles of the gospel, as they have been revealed anew in this dispensation, that we are closely related to our kindred, to our ancestors, to our friends and associates and co-laborers who have preceded us into the spirit world. We can not forget them; we do not cease to love them; we always hold them in our hearts, in memory, and thus we are associated and united to them by ties that we can not break, that we can not dissolve or free ourselves from. If this is the case with us in our finite condition, surrounded by our mortal weaknesses, short-sightedness, lack of inspiration and wisdom, from time to time, how much more certain it is and reasonable and consistent to believe that those who have been faithful, who have gone beyond and are still engaged in the work for the salvation of the souls of men, the opening of the prison doors to them that are bound, and proclaiming liberty to the captives, can see us better than we can see them; that they know us better than we know them. They have advanced; we are advancing; we are growing as they have grown; we are reaching the goal that they have attained unto; and therefore, I claim that we live in their presence, they see us, they are solicitous for our welfare, they love us now more than ever. For now they see the dangers that beset us; they can comprehend, better than ever before, the weaknesses that are liable to mislead us into dark and forbidden paths. They see the temptations and the evils that beset us in life and the proneness of mortal beings to yield to temptation and to wrong doing; hence their solicitude for us, and their love for us, and their desire for our well being, must be greater than that which we feel for ourselves."

Bree and Josh, thank you again for sharing these pictures of your Angel. The Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. asked, "Why is it that infants, innocent children, are taken away from us, especially those that seem to be the most intelligent and interesting?  The Lord takes many away even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again." Finally, Joseph concluded: "The only difference between the old and young dying is, one lives longer in heaven and eternal light and glory than the other, and is freed a little sooner from this miserable wicked world. Notwithstanding all this glory, we for a moment lose sight of it, and mourn the loss, but we do not mourn as those with out hope."
In commenting on the Prophet's remarks, Elder Bruce R. McConkie said: "There are certain spirits who come into this life only to receive bodies; for reasons that we do not know, but which are known in the infinite wisdom of the Eternal Father, they do not need the testing, probationary experiences of mortality. We come here for two great reasons-the first, to get a body; the second, to be tried, examined, schooled, and tested under mortal circumstances, to take a different type of probationary test than we underwent in the pre-mortal life. There are some of the children of our Father, however, who come to earth to get a body-for that reason solely. They do not need the testings of this mortality."

Love,

The Paces

The pictures you took of our family are priceless to our family. I can only imagine the infinite pricelessness of these of Archer. From the third measure of the song I was hardly able to see the screen through the tears. How wondeful for you to have the knowledge that your sweet babies have gone ahead to prepare a place for you. That you have a guarentee that they will be waiting for you in the Celestial Kingdom.
Thank you for sharing this tender and precious event with us. We love and admire you and your family as you have gone on this journey.
With all our love,
Tawnya, Varcel Huntsman and all our kids, and Asher, our baby boy.
