It's an EMERGENCY!

Well, once again we found ourselves in the emergency room. Alli just can't seem to get enough of that place. In her three years of living, she's been to the ER more times (3) than I have in my 25 years of living (1)! What is with that little girl?!
We were at Arctic Circle having some ice-cream and Alli was running around the playground and tripped and dove mouth first into one of the corners on the benches. I heard a popping noise, and I immediately thought the worst. At first she wouldn't let me look at it, and she kept saying, "I don't want to go to the hospital!" Obviously she knew the routine. But it was nasty looking and boy did that baby bleed! It looked to me like she was going to need stitches for sure, but the Dr. at the hospital said that they don't give stitches in the mouth anymore (unless something like food could get easily caught in it) because they heal so quickly that they aren't really necessary. Luckily, she didn't knock any of her teeth loose, but I am supposed to go and check in with a dentist on Monday to make sure that all really is well.
On our way out of the ER, Alli asked the nearest nurse if she could have a Popsicle because "that would make [her] all better". Isn't she a hoot!? All is well, and I guess the Popsicle worked it's magic cause she's "all better" (in her opinion anyways).

Alli is at it again! I am so sorry- the poor kid. she is such a cutie. Jan said that she and Kenni had a ball at the pool parties while we were gone. Hope she feels better soon so we can do another pool party.
